My Story
I’m Kate, a seamstress and repair artist based in Bury with a background in Fashion and years of experience in the textile industry. I am passionate about giving your clothes the second life they deserve, whether through alterations or repairs such as visible or invisible darning. I love the intricacy of creating miniature weaves through darning to either mimic the clothing like a twill weave on denim or to contrast by creating a colourful check pattern. I am also available for bespoke and unusual projects.
